Get started

Node.js is the open-source JavaScript runtime for servers and command-line tools. The official triauth-js library runs on Node.js 18 and newer, and needs no other dependencies. For a web server, see the Express example.

Install ​

Node.js versions before 19

triauth-js uses the global crypto object, available by default from Node.js 19. On Node.js 18, start your program with the --experimental-global-webcrypto flag, for example through NODE_OPTIONS='--experimental-global-webcrypto'.
