Get started

The playground at play.triauth.org lets you learn and try the triauth protocol live in your browser.

It is based on the browser build of our official triauth-js library, and runs entirely client-side with no backend.

Bring your triauth identifier, as most flows need one you can approve.

What you can try

  • Start with authenticate
Approve the authentication request in your authenticator and see the authentication result in the playground.

  • Check the session
Use check with the deviceTag returned by authenticate to make sure the device keys were not revoked, or ping for a fresh cryptographic proof with no user interaction.

  • Get cryptographic signatures
Use sign for a signature over a message and its attachments after the user has read them, or stamp a short string silently in the background. Then verify either against the keys in DNS.

  • Collect attestations
Use attest to ask a verification provider you trust for a signed statement about the user, such as “I am not a robot”.

  • Look up an identifier
Use whois to read any identifier's public profile, devices, and keys straight from DNS, or validate to check the format of an identifier or device name with no lookup at all.
